rhubarb and strawberry sauce

from frozen rhubarb and frozen strawberries

Ingredients

  • 1 10oz package frozen rhubarb
  • 1 10 oz package frozen strawberries
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1 T quick cooking tapioca

 

Instructions:

  1. place rhubarb, strawberries, sugar and about 2 T water in a saucepan over low heat.
  2. Increase heat once fruit is thawed and there is sufficient liquid.  Add about 1 T tapioca to help thicken.
  3. Cook until the desired consistency - about 15 minutes.
