Quinoa

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups water
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and drain quinoa
  2. Toast quinoa in a heavy skillet  - until it skittles across the surface
  3. Add to saucepan with water and salt
  4. Bring to boil
  5. Simmer for 5 minutes, covered
  6. Turn heat off and let quinoa finish absorbing water
