rhubarb and strawberry sauce
from frozen rhubarb and frozen strawberries
Ingredients
- 1 10oz package frozen rhubarb
- 1 10 oz package frozen strawberries
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 T quick cooking tapioca
Instructions:
- place rhubarb, strawberries, sugar and about 2 T water in a saucepan over low heat.
- Increase heat once fruit is thawed and there is sufficient liquid. Add about 1 T tapioca to help thicken.
- Cook until the desired consistency - about 15 minutes.
