La Kama Spice Mixture

Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground tumeric
- 1 tsp freshly ground white pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cubeb pepper (optional)
- a good pinch of grated nutmeg
Directions:
Mix the ground spices. Sift through a fine sieve and store in a closed jar ina cool, dark place.
This is used to flavor various tagines. Also good with winter vegetables such as turnips, rutabagas, butternut squash and carrots.
